Our Story - How Jiveesha Began
From Clinical Insight to National Platform
Jiveesha was born from a simple observation: In India, children with neurodevelopmental conditions are identified on average at age 9 years after the critical early intervention window has closed. This isn't because tools don't exist. It's because access is broken.
In 2024, Daira EdTech partnered with NIEPID (National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities) to solve this access problem. We adapted internationally validated screening tools for the Indian context, built them into a low-bandwidth mobile platform, and took them directly to government schools. The results were staggering. In our first pilot, 85% of children flagged for support had never been previously identified. Parents finally had answers. Teachers finally had tools. Children finally had a chance.
From those early pilots, Jiveesha has grown into a comprehensive platform serving 30,000+ children across 2 government-approved districts, with a replicable model ready for national scale.
